Hello Shirley
There a number of matters to consider when registering a business, or when switching from profit to non-profit status. The Registering your business section of the Canada Business website can help provide the information you are looking for.
You may also want to consult the Who can apply for funding section if you are interested in Service Canada’s
Opportunities Fund.
For more help, contact the business service centre in your province or territory or call toll free 1-888-576-4444.
